How to install Movie Downloader on Windows
Are you trying to figure out how to install Movie Downloader on Windows so you can download free movies and watch them offline? In this tutorial, I’m going to teach you how to download and install Movie Downloader on Windows so you can watch free movies.
Step 1: Go to https://moviedownloader.net and sign in with Google. In the screenshot below, you can see that I’m logged in.
Step 2: Go to https://moviedownloader.org/pages/movie-downloader or click on any movie download button and download the executable file from the Windows download button. This will download the installer to your computer.
Step 3: Open your download folder or whichever folder you downloaded the executable file to. In this case, I used my “download” folder so I will open it and double-click on the installer.
Step 4: When you double-click on the installer to begin the installation process, you will be given a window that looks like the one below. Not to fret, no worries, this is NOT malware, spyware, adware, a virus, or anything else harmful. I promise! I am the developer so I know and I’m not going to lie to you. Click on the “More Info” link and that will open up a hidden button that says “Run anyway”. Click the “Run anyway” button to run the installer.
Step 5: After the installation is complete, you will be presented with the user interface for the program. ******Note***** Movie Downloader requires the OperaGX browser in order to run. If this is not installed, the program will not work, therefore, install the appropriate version for your device.***** In this case, I’ll install OperaGX for Windows. Again, no worries as this is not spyware, adware, malware or anything else. It is simply an alternative browser to Chrome, Firefox and Edge browsers but the program will not run without it.
You will be brought to a page that resembles this. Install OperaGX to allow the Movie Downloader to run on your computer. Download the installer and double-click on it to begin the installation process and just follow the prompts in the installer.
Step 6: If you’ve gotten this far and the OperaGX web browser is installed, close Movie Downloader and restart it. There should be an icon on your desktop that is a shortcut to the Movie Downloader app. Double-click this shortcut and run the Movie Downloader.
As you can see, the program is running perfectly and I was able to download a movie for free in less than 2 minutes.
